Why I do what I do

I know something about social death.

Public embarrassments, betrayals, humiliation, bullying, abandonment, rejection...

Over the years, I noticed something: women tend to find me when they’re dealing with social deaths of their own.

Somehow, I became the person who helps ferry them across this threshold.

I don’t believe our painful experiences need to define us, and I don’t believe healing requires pretending they never happened. We can grieve. We can honor what was. We can take the wisdom with us—and leave behind what we no longer need to carry.

That’s why I do this work.

There is life on the other side of a social death. Sometimes you just need someone to walk with you to help you remember who you are.
